Description

CSI Math: Who Done It? - Use Math to Figure it Out! Print & Google Classroom - Math | Distance Learning

A fun math activity where students have to use their math skills to eliminate suspects so they can find out who committed the crime (a robbery).

This pack now includes a print version and a google classroom version for distance learning with your students! The google classroom version is a google slide where your students can fill in editable textboxes and move images. This can be done on a tablet but works best on laptops or Chromebooks.

Four clues are given to the students and each clue (worksheet) allows them to eliminate 1-2 suspects.

Clue 1/ Hidden multiplication message

Clue 2/ Map reading skills (tracking the criminals path)

Clue 3/ Time skills (who had enough time to commit the crime)

Clue 4/ Simple adding of decimals.

Most students should be able to complete this in about 40mins (give or take 10mins).

Pack also includes 2 extension activities for early finishers

1/ Reward writing

2/ Incoming Morse-code message.

Answer sheets provided

My intermediate (middle-school) students LOVED doing this. Would be suitable for upper elementary (primary) students also.

Great for an end of week or year activity - or for a substitute teacher.
