Description
The Boy Scout Motto, Slogan, Oath, and Law presented in American Sign Language. For each sign, there is an illustration as it is occurs in the slogan, motto, oath, or law. At the end of all the presentations, a chart lists each word/concept in alphabetical order with a corresponding explanation of the action in words.
Note to stringent observers of ASL syntax: American Sign Language is its own language. It is NOT an interpretation of English and therefore does not use English syntax. However, since this is designed for children, some concepts may appear in an order closer to what the child might be speaking verbally as he is signing; although for the most part, the presentation adheres to ASL syntax rather than Signed English.
