Description
Can you imagine being confined to a tiny jail cell for 27 years simply because of your political beliefs, then rising beyond the horrors of jail and apartheid to become the president of a nation? This worksheet is a great way for students to practice their skills subtracting and multiplying mixed numbers, converting between fractions, decimals, and percents, and creating a percent circle graph from raw data while learning about the amazing life of Nelson Mandela. Each math problem is based on real data I collected through my research into Mandela's life. Also included - a small section on comparing fractions.
