What educators are saying

As a SPED teacher, this is exactly what I needed in terms of visuals to use all over my classroom. It's PERFECT!
This is great! I love the real pictures. My students refer to the schedule all the time. This is a great resource.

    Description

This back to school visual resource is a great tool to help you get your students used to new routines, transitions, learning what appropriate behavior looks like, center rules and circle time rules. Each activity uses real images instead of clipart helping kids that might struggle with abstract clipart. I have found these cards work well with autistic students and others with special needs like ADHD; toddlers and three-year olds with limited vocabulary; ESL students; and the whole classroom in general get used to routines and rules quicker.

    What you get:

    • Visual schedule cards A visual class schedule helps transitions in a preschool and kindergarten classroom run smoother.
    • Center rules These cards provide visual examples of what appropriate and inappropriate behavior looks like within preschool or kindergarten centers. Use them to help introduce centers at the beginning of the school year or be used as a reminder during the school year when free choice time gets out of hand.
    • Circle time rules This behavior management tool helps students understand what appropriate and inappropriate behavior looks like at circle time using nonverbal prompts. It is a great tool for introducing circle time at back to school as well as reinforcing routines and behaviors that are expected throughout the school year.
    • Behavior sort
    • If you’re like me saying, “Go wash your hands” a million times a day, then this activity is for you. Many young children need consistent practice at choosing appropriate behaviors. Using photos, this sorting activity is another opportunity for them to SEE (not just hear) what is expected. Make a sorting board or use a pocket chart and pass out the cards. Have your students sort between “Good choice! and “We can do better.” You could also use them as nonverbal prompts when you see a student needing some support.
