Description

Looking for a fun way to review area and perimeter? Then check out this fun area and perimeter activity. Students love to move around the room and this relay race game is the perfect activity that allows students to move while reviewing and learning about area and perimeter. Students work in teams to solve area and perimeter problems. Just like a typical relay race, each team will have one student (or a pair of students) race to the relay question, answer the question, and race back to hand off the recording sheet for the next teammate or pair to go up and answer the next question. My students have a blast playing this game. It keeps them entertained and excited when reviewing area and perimeter. Check out the full product in the preview section!

The game includes 15 relay questions.

14 area and perimeter problems + 1 area and perimeter team challenge problem.

Product includes:

  • Solving for area and perimeter of polygons
  • Solving for area and perimeter with missing sides
  • Solving for area and perimeter of a grid
