Description

This animal research project is all about tropical rainforest animals. It makes animal reports in grade 2, grade 3, and grade 4 a breeze. It has an animal research graphic organizer to use with the easy to read informational text fact sheets. Differentiation for the needs of your students is built in to the writing pages.

This 55 page packet includes information on these animals that live in the tropical rainforest habitat:

  • Chameleons
  • Green anacondas
  • Howler monkeys
  • Jaguars
  • Macaws and parrots
  • Red eyed tree frogs
  • Sloths
  • Toucans

The informational close reading passages are bulleted and written at a level the students can read independently. The pages include links to student-friendly websites. Students may complete the projects individually, with partners, or in teams.
