Description
Unlock student’s creativity with this fully digital and print animal adaptations research project for middle school! Stretch your student’s imagination to create their very own animal with a combination of structural and behavioral adaptations. Then they’ll create a presentation and physical model of their new animal.
Finally, students will have to prove whether or not their animal can live in one of three mystery environments using evidence from their adaptations. Don’t tell them ahead of time - you’ll want them to determine based on the animals adaptations whether or not they can live there!
This week long animal adaptations project is no-prep and engaging, so you can save time planning and keep students engaged! This project is a perfect addition to any middle school animal adaptations unit.
