Alphabet Tracing Worksheets - Uppercase & Lowercase Letters

This Alphabet Tracing set is loaded with lots of ways to practice tracing letters. They’re an especially awesome resource for assessments, too! There are 10 worksheets for uppercase letters, 10 for lowercase letters, 10 for upper & lowercase letters together and 4 alphabet letter charts.

Each worksheet and the charts were created with the expectation that kids would first point to each letter and repeat the entire alphabet from A-Z. They are a learning tool so if kids don't know all the letter names or the correct letter sequence the first time that's okay. With the repetition of pointing to the letters, saying the letter names, and seeing the visual representation of each letter, they'll soon catch on.

Secondly, kids trace the number of letters that need to be traced on each worksheet. The number varies from worksheet to worksheet - some of the letters, every other letter, all of the letters, etc. You can use this to your advantage for differentiated learners, your progress through the alphabet, time constraints, and definitely for assessments.

You can have your kids trace the letters in regular pencil or kick it up a notch and have them trace the letters in colored pencils, crayons, or markers!
