Let's learn about Chinese scarf and ribbon dancing!
In this product you and your students will learn a little bit about the history of Chinese ribbon dancing and watch some examples of ribbon dancing. You will also learn some basic ribbon dancing moves (that can be done with scarves or ribbons) and will then get to put those together and learn an original Chinese scarf dance perfect for Lunar New Year lessons (or any time of year)!
Also included: slides for teacher learning of the scarf dance (written out scarfography, a scarfography cheat sheet, and a video of the full scarf dance), slides for student learning of the history of ribbon dancing, links to examples, slides for student learning of basic ribbon dancing moves, slides for student learning of the entire scarf dance, and information on the inspiration behind the specific terminology used for this dance.
Formats include: PDF, PPT, and Google Slides.
