Description

This African American Inventors' Craftivity helps students understand the life and legacy left by 5 different Americans, while allowing students learn Google Slides™ and Google Classroom™. Students read and learn about the life of the inventors and then organize the information they find in Google Slides™.

Students learn to insert pictures, create text boxes, change font size and color and write about the life of one of the inventors. Students create a banner during this process which can then be printed and displayed on a bulletin board or in the hallway.

The five inventors included are:

  • Madame C.J. Walker
  • Garrett Morgan
  • Jan Ernst Matzeliger
  • Alexander Miles
  • Lonnie Johnson

Full directions are given to students so they know how to complete each step of the project. Directions are also included for the teacher, so you know how to download and get this project to students.

Enjoy!
