ABOUT SPIRAL REVIEW
12 topics are visited 10 times each over the 30 weeks. Along with vocabulary review, this helps keep content fresh.
The early weeks are focused on reviewing skills and content. Because students’ background knowledge varies, I included information, defined vocabulary, and examples. Students use that information to help them answer a question.
As the weeks go on, less background information is provided, and the rigor of the questions increases to meet what is expected on STAAR.

FORMAT OPTIONS
Booklet
Use a spiral binding machine to make a booklet for the whole year. Students can look back at previous questions for assistance.
Weekly Printing
Print the 4 questions on one page, front and back.
Folder
Use a hole puncher on the pages. Add the new page to the folder throughout the year.
