3rd Grade Reading Interactive Notebook (aligned with the Common Core)
What educators are saying
Description
Interactive Notebooks serve many purposes in the classroom. The notebooks become an “anchor” for the standards taught, as well, as a reference that your students can use throughout the year. I have found that my students are SO proud of the finished product. They love seeing all of the reading skills they have learned in one place.
This notebook covers all of the 3rd grade Reading Standards (including Literature, Informational, and Foundational Skills).
In this product you will find:
A cover for the notebook
An “I can statement” for each standard to glue at the top of the notebook page
Printables to create each page
Dividers for each Reading strands
Photos of EVERY page of the notebook put together so you have an idea of how the materials can be used
Each student will need:
A composition notebook
Crayons, markers, and/or colored pencils
Glue
Copies of the materials for each standard
You will find that I have included several of the same images on each page to reduce copying. Also, I have included both boy and girl images when the clipart option was available. You can either choose to provide both options for your students or just copy one or the other.
I hope that you find this instruction tool to be beneficial for your students. I feel confident that your students will love creating these as a way to reinforce the reading standards.

If you teach multiple grade levels, I would suggest just purchasing one grade level and make modifications as necessary. If you have already purchased a notebook and have switched grade levels, I would advise buyers to try to make modifications versus purchasing another grade level due to the commonalities in the notebooks and standards.
If you still have questions about my notebooks, please check my FAQs on my blog. I have addressed many questions you may have.
