What educators are saying

I loved having these during our review days. I was able to display it on the board and we were able to refresh and review with it. It really helped my students remember key aspects of what we were doing.
These anchor charts are a great additional to my Math Wall. I refer to them during Math lessons and my students can refer to them throughout the day. They are great visuals for reference when we review the Math concepts we have previously learned.

Description

Display large, easy to read anchor charts for all of the third grade math Common Core Standards!

This packet includes one 18x24 poster and one 8.5x11 poster for each of the 3rd grade Common Core math standards.

A Little More Information

I have been making anchor charts with my students for the past several years. I often like to make them together with my class for student input and ownership. However, I would find myself spending way too much time rewriting and recreating the charts to make them presentable enough to hang on my wall. I have created this collection of anchor charts to help save time and to give my anchor charts a clean and cohesive look. I like for my anchor charts to be large and readable for students all over my classroom, so I have created a large version of each of the posters. The large version’s dimensions are 18x24. These can be printed on four pieces of paper and taped together. They can also be sent to almost any printing service for professional printing. I sent my posters to shortrunposters.com and had them printed for $3 per poster. I realize that not everyone wants, or has space, for these large posters, so I’ve also created a poster for a regular piece of paper.

Standards

to see state-specific standards (only available in the US).
Tell and write time to the nearest minute and measure time intervals in minutes. Solve word problems involving addition and subtraction of time intervals in minutes, e.g., by representing the problem on a number line diagram.
Measure and estimate liquid volumes and masses of objects using standard units of grams (g), kilograms (kg), and liters (l). Add, subtract, multiply, or divide to solve one-step word problems involving masses or volumes that are given in the same units, e.g., by using drawings (such as a beaker with a measurement scale) to represent the problem.
Draw a scaled picture graph and a scaled bar graph to represent a data set with several categories. Solve one- and two-step “how many more” and “how many less” problems using information presented in scaled bar graphs. For example, draw a bar graph in which each square in the bar graph might represent 5 pets.
Generate measurement data by measuring lengths using rulers marked with halves and fourths of an inch. Show the data by making a line plot, where the horizontal scale is marked off in appropriate units-whole numbers, halves, or quarters.
Recognize area as an attribute of plane figures and understand concepts of area measurement.
