Description
This resource gives you everything you need to create 3 sweet & simple class books for the 100th day of school. Your students will love being the illustrators and reading and seeing what their classmates created! These books end up being treasured favorites for your classroom library (you could even make a bin especially for “Books We Made!”) and they also serve as something super cute to put out at conferences or open house time.
Something for Everyone: Every child can illustrate a page. They can complete the writing in the sentence or you can, depending on their skill level and goals.
_____________
BOOKS:
We are 100 Days Smarter: Brainstorm a list of ALL the awesome things we’ve learned together in the past 100 days and then complete this sentence: “Now that I’m 100 days smarter, I know how to __________!”
Our 100 Wishes: This page is split into 2 sections. Brainstorm ideas together as a class and then have them go write & illustrate. One half says: “I wish I had 100 __________” and the other half says, “…but I’d NEVER wish for 100 _________.”
If I had $100…: The sentence says: “If I had $100, I would buy _________.” These are always so hilarious to see what they want and what they think $100 can buy. There is an extra $100 bill attached that they can cut out and use as part of their illustration if they want.
-------------------
Speedy Prep: This makes a beautiful 7.5 inch square shaped class book. You simply print and cut the blank bottom space off the papers (one quick chop with the paper cutter) and you’re set! Laminate the cover if you want to.
Putting It All Together: I like to just give the pages a few quick staples along the side. You could also do 2 hole punches and bind them with small clasp rings… or assemble them any way you wish.
Make all 3 books ...or just choose your favorite! Your students will LOVE these!
