The Rising Cost of Healthcare in the United States
In this activity the student will look at the cost of healthcare from 1998 to 2005 and be asked to determine if there is a relationship between each progressing year and the cost (in billions of dollars) for healthcare. The student will also be asked to project into the future and calculate the cost for healthcare based on a regression formula generated by the data provided and using a spreadsheet.
