This game allows students to practice identifing if a piece of text is First Person or Third Person. They can Sort the cards during a center or group activity or they could play Quiz-Quiz Trade.

I found in my classroom that the students really enjoyed math or reading assignments when paired with something they were interested in. I had a student complain about reading all the time. I found a TPT basketball packet with reading and math problems, and he loved it.

This lesson is a great introduction or review lesson for theme and point of view. My Neighbor Below is a perfect read aloud for teaching and discussing these reading concepts, while also encouraging the appreciation of animals and the greater world around us. Great for Groundhog Day, Earth Day, or ANY DAY!
