4th Grade Math PSSA Review Game
This is a Koosh Ball game that reviews 4th grade math standards for the PSSA test. It uses PSSA released items but in a fun way! Students work in groups to answer a series of questions. Each group will need a whiteboard and marker to solve the problems. Rotate choosing a member from each group to throw a koosh ball at the board and "pop" one of the balloons, linking to a question. Napier's Bones - A Manipulative for Understanding the Multiplication Algorithm
SMARTBOARD presentation outlining the history and development of Napier's Bones, also known as Napier's Rods, which are used to help students understand the algorithm for multiplication.
