Classroom Transition Song DJ Smart Notebook
I developed this Smart Notebook file to help my students transition in the classroom throughout the day. I chose a variety of old tv theme songs of varying lengths. When I click a song, students know immediately where they are supposed to go or what they are supposed to do by the end of the song. This is an activity that utilizes receptive sorting skills! Use this chant "we're going on a bear hunt" with your kids and have them tap out the rhythm on their knees. Then pack up your backpack for the hunt with everything you'll need! At the end, play a great "spot the bear" game!

I alway try my best to offer choice to my little ones...I think it's important for them to feel that they have a voice and also helps minimize behaviors!
