By WholeHearted School Counseling I am an elementary school counselor. In my former life, have been a high school teacher, college of education academic advisor, real estate broker, and home remodeler.
The guidepost which orients my counseling style is that we are wired for connection. I am also anchored by multicultural, wholistic, feminist, solution-focused, and postmodern therapeutic perspectives.
Masters in Counseling and American Studies.
Mostly I believe in black tea at 4am, kindness, libraries, showing up, being brave, hard work, a good pair of running shoes, second chances, and chocolate. Also, ain't nothing more lovely than family bike rides, game nights, and watching your children take flight.
