TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am an elementary school counselor. In my former life, have been a high school teacher, college of education academic advisor, real estate broker, and home remodeler.

MY TEACHING STYLE

The guidepost which orients my counseling style is that we are wired for connection. I am also anchored by multicultural, wholistic, feminist, solution-focused, and postmodern therapeutic perspectives.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

Mostly I believe in black tea at 4am, kindness, libraries, showing up, being brave, hard work, a good pair of running shoes, second chances, and chocolate. Also, ain't nothing more lovely than family bike rides, game nights, and watching your children take flight.
