TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been a music educator for 15 years, teaching elementary music, band, and chorus in the Atlanta, GA area. I have experience teaching beginning and intermediate band, chorus, K-5 general music, ukulele, guitar, and producing musicals at multiple grade levels. I also have expertise with educational technology and integrate it seamlessly into the classroom.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe students learn best in a music classroom when they are engaged in the material. Hook students with fun, interesting material so they will be in the right frame of mind to become better musicians. I am constantly looking for new material for my students and embrace technology in the music classroom with open arms.
