Music Is Life

In my 5th year as a Music Teacher! I teach K-8 general music and chorus. Additionally, I taught private piano and voice lessons for 6 years.

With my middle schoolers, I do a lot of fun student-centered projects and activities. I like to give students opportunities to be creative regardless of their musical backgrounds or interests. I also provide opportunities for students to learn different instruments at this level, including ukulele, keyboards, and percussion instruments. With my elementary students I largely follow Music Learning Theory. In all of my classes, I strive to incorporate technology in meaningful ways.

Honors Degree from the University of Delaware, Graduated Magna Cum Laude.

Bachelor of Music in Music Education with a Voice Concentration from the University of Delaware. First Steps in Music Certification from University of the Arts in Philadelphia. Level 1 GIML Elementary General Music PDLC Certificate.

I love spending time with my family and friends, snuggling with my King Charles Cavalier, Louie, and going to the beach!
