TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Greetings! An English teacher for over 15 years, I have taught a range of courses including: 9th grade, 10th grade, 11th grade, American Literature, A.P. English Language and Composition, A.P. English Literature and Composition, Advanced Composition, Advanced Literature, Creative Writing, Adaptations of Great Books, and Mythology.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Keenly aware that students learn best by doing, my hands-on assignments task them with closely engaging in what they learn. I am also a proud English nerd, and infuse my lessons with artifacts from treks I make to the real and romanticized literary haunts of the world. Please visit my blog, Innovative English Instruction, to learn more about my teaching style and resources!
