What is technology? Interactive Flipchart 1-5 grades (video, click/drag, etc.)

Thank you for your interest in this file. I designed this flipchart to be used as a tool for teachers in a whole class situation or as an independent/center work. Each of the ten pages are interactive; whether it is through click and drag, click and identify, annotate or list examples of technology. The purpose of this flipchart is to get students to think of technology as something that makes life easier. Many students believe that technology must be “electric”, “plugged in”, or a “computer”. Through the exploration of this flip chart, students will see that technology is much more.
Slide 2, students click and drag items that they feel are technological
Slide 3, students view a video that creatively presents the variety of technology that surrounds us each day
Slide 4 students/teacher use the translucent slider to reveal how items help make our lives easier; therefore is an example of technology.
