What educators are saying

It was a perfect introduction activity to the growth mindset and looks great on our wall for open house! I loved that all our ELLs could make this collaborative poster together!
My students were able to use the I can and I can't little comment bubbles very easily. It made for a great addition to their giraffe drawings. Will be proudly displayed in our office bulletin . Great easy to use resource!

Description

This Power of Yet collaborative poster is triple the fun for your back to school bulletin board. Your students will love the combination of coloring, creativity, and the Power of Yet poster group project! All inspired by promoting a Growth Mindset, setting goals, "yes you can," message in your classroom. The collaborative poster features a "I can, and I can't YET," writing prompt that students will complete and cut out. The speech bubble cut outs go around the poster to enhance your bulletin board display. Great for back to school, test prep, and to get your students enthusiastic for striving for the best! Watch students and staff stop and look at your We Believe in the Power of Yet poster...it is eye catching!

The collaborative poster includes assembly instructions and helpful tips to make it even better! You will only need to print this one time per class! That's it. The collaboration poster project is a perfect size to laminate.

Goes great with the popular read aloud book, "Giraffes Can't Dance." Promoting a classroom community that encourages children not to give into peer pressure and stereotypes is great and important!

You'll love watching your students collaborate. The activity is designed for students to communicate and work together. Encourage your students to find class members with poster pieces near their own to create their masterpiece.

Includes:

★ An optional row of pieces in the event you have more students (over 25? Don't worry! There is a bonus row extra piece)

★ A writing activity focusing on "yes I can," and goal setting for the school year.

★ full size coloring page

★ Pieces for your students to color and complete the writing response

Recommended supplies needed: crayons, colored pencils, scissors, tape or stapler

Please provide me with really appreciated feedback!
