- WHAT’S THE LINK?: Students listen to a list of seemingly random words, and they must find a way to link them together.
- NAME THAT ANIMAL: Students listen to clues and guess the animal that is described.
- LISTEN & DRAW: Students listen and respond to mini-passages while creating a coordinating illustration.
- HOW MANY?: Students must race the clock to list as many items that belong in a single category as they can.
- ONCE UPON A TIME: Students listen to the way a story ends, and they must write how the story could have begun.
- MIXED-UP SENTENCES: Students listen to sentences with words out of order. Then, they work to put the sentences in the correct order.
- DOODLE CHALLENGES: Students take on doodle tasks that challenge them to be creative in new ways.
- COMMON THREADS: Students must think creatively as they write down 3 common threads between an unlikely pair of objects.
