Description
My students love watching movies in science class! But, sometimes it can be difficult to find a movie that the students enjoy and that will culminate good discussion questions for the students. WALL-E is a cute, entertaining movie which has a lot of great content when it comes to environmental science, conservation, sustainability and taking care of our earth. This is a great movie to watch on Earth Day, or throughout the year!
With these guided movie questions, students will be able to watch the movie, while they answer questions about the plot and about conservation. There are 18 questions, that encourage students to process the underlying movie themes of taking care of earth.
Some questions include:
- How does WALL-E recharge? How is this more sustainable than fossil fuels?
- What are three celestial objects that WALL-E encounters on his trip through space?
- The captain says that the plant came a long way for a drink of water and it needs someone to take care of it. How does this relate to what the Earth needs?
This activity includes:
