Description

Do you need music activities to use for distance learning? Looking for a music activity for your elementary music lesson that will reinforce reading treble clef notes directly on the music staff? Want the resource to work on tablets and Web Browsers? Your students will love reading the names of the notes with this engaging interactive game. Perfect game for centers, whole group instruction, music sub tubs or distance learning!

The interactive game consists of 15 student interactive slides. There are 11 slides where students read the note on the staff and choose the correct letter and 4 slides with several notes on the staff and they decode the pitches to find the word! Perfect addition to your Orff lessons and Kodaly lessons while addressing reading music!

Each slide has several sound effects and animations. Students will read the note on the staff then select the candy with the correct letter. They will know immediately without leaving the page if they are correct or if they need to read it again. Listen to their laughter when small furry monsters appear and scurry to eat the candy - Yum Yums.

A QR Code is also included. Print or project the pdf flyer so students can easily scan and play the game.

Two assessments and answer key's are provided in a separate pdf document so you are able to formally assess students on the concept in a later lesson. The assessment will print 2 per page to save on ink! You have the choose of assessing individual note names or the words on the staff.

An excellent observation tool to see which students might be struggling with the concept.
