Description

This set of 10 problems focuses on the concept of perimeter and area. Students are asked trap the zombie that is about to attack by drawing a polygon around the outside. By doing this, the students stop the zombie from taking over the world! :)

Students then need to figure out the area and perimeter of the shape that they drew around the zombie. This is perfect for homework, classwork, or just a fun Halloween review of area and perimeter.

Also included is a problem solving strategy called CUBES. This is given in the form of a notebook page that students can place into their interactive math notebooks.

C- circle the numbers

U- Underline the question

B- Box the key words

E- Evaluate

S- Solve and check

Lastly, there is an interactive notebook page on the concept of area and perimeter.

Perfect for math centers, small group math, or just a general review and practice of perimeter and area.

Thanks for looking,

Dan M.
