This Three Branches of Government Lesson Plan 3rd Grade is designed for the pages to use alone or in an Interactive Notebook! This unit follows 3rd grade- Georgia SS Standards but can be used for most states.
There are 13 activities to explain the importance of the basic principles that provide the foundation of a republican form of government (SS3CG1). Student will be able to explain why in the U.S. there is a separation of power between branches and levels of government. Students will also explore the 3 levels of government and the 3 branches in each including the names of the legislative branch.
