The Science of Reading Phonics Decodable Passages Worksheets Google Slides Use

Looking for a way to better support at risk students in their literacy development? Research backs the use of decodable readers when it comes to reaching more of your students to become fluent readers. That is why I put together these phonics decodable passages that can be used for intervention, extra support, center activities, home support, and more. These passages target phonics skills, so you can support literacy development in all your students.

This resource includes four different formats to make them versatile for different classrooms. Each passage includes black and white printable formats, Google Slides formats, Seesaw formats, and PowerPoint formats. There are a few different options for each passage, so you can differentiate your instruction and let students build fluency through rereading the passages another time with a different type of extended activity.

For the vowel teams and diphthong passages, some of the passages focus on one syllable words and some progress to two syllable words.

Needing the printable version of these decodables only? The printable passages from this bundle can be found in another bundle that is filled with heart word activities to pair with the passages, a scope and sequence of words and skills covered, word mapping extensions, scripted lessons with guiding questions, and more. About the Download: You will download a PDF that has links to all the resources. The printable options will be in the PDF after the digital links. There are instructions on how to link to the files with it. Each page is clearly labeled, so you know where to download the version that you need. I also include links to clear instructions for using each one in their digital format.
