Description
This web quest style pre-reading activity has students research about the author, setting, Greek mythology, monsters that are in the novel, literary terms etc. It also includes an optional paragraph response with two writing topics, and an optional meta-cognition requirement.
This activity is suitable to leave for Supply Teachers. A RUBRIC is included for quick and easy marking.
It is a fun activity that students enjoy getting into. A great way to start off a new unit, and give yourself time to mark the test from the last unit.
Takes 1 period (60 to 75 minutes). MS Word. Editable.
