Description
I have included the lesson plan with the readers' theater, so all you have to do it print and enjoy!
I used this Readers’ Theater with my fourth graders. It was a springboard into our BIG IDEA topic of Environments, and it also led to great conversation about cause and effect.
We know that cause and effect is a HUGE concept for students to master, especially in the sciences. The Next Generation Science Standards (“NGSS”) call this a cross cutting concept. This means it, in terms of NGSS, that it should be taught at all grade levels and build in intensity/vigor as the child ages.
