4.2 is part of an epic 7-part series (4.1 through 4.7) that covers an entire World History unit of study, the Age of Revolutions.

4.2 deals with the revolutionary developments in England in the 17th century. All of the following are included: the Stuart kings (James I, Charles I, Charles II, James II), the Gunpowder Plot, Guy Fawkes, the Petition of Right, the conflict between the Parliament on the king, the English Civil War, Cavaliers, Roundheads, Oliver Cromwell, the trial and execution of Charles I, the Commonwealth, the Restoration, John Milton, the London Fire, the Glorious Revolution, William and Mary, the English Bill of Rights, development of Great Britain and its American colonies.

This product would be awesome for any Jr. High or High School World History class. It can work perfectly for various age groups and ability levels. Embedded in this PowerPoint are the editable notes for this lesson on Word and pdf. The notes have certain key words for the students to fill-in which allows students to focus on the rich visuals and animations.

I have also created many original maps, and battle animations, which I believe are the best available to teach this topic.

Also, embedded are all the editable Word/pdf notes for this entire unit of World History, Unit 4 The Age of Revolutions (4.1 through 4.7).
