Synonym and Antonym BINGO

In this ELA BINGO game students will practice their knowledge of synonyms and antonyms. I’ve made this set to be played in small groups either with a teacher or as an independent literacy center. This set can also be played whole group with students working independently or with students working with a partner. There are 28 individual BINGO boards in this set. I use this BINGO set when I feel as if the whole class has mastered the skill or they are ready to practice the skill with a partner. When playing whole group, I put the calling card under the overhead for the whole class to see. I like to let students talk to each other and help one another out. Not only does this get them talking about the skill on hand, but it makes the game go much faster! :)

Included you will find:

* Direction sheet for students (I usually laminate it to a large envelope and keep the game inside.)

* Answer sheet for students/teacher to use.

* 28 BINGO boards. These boards can be used for both the synonym and antonym calling cards.

* 24 calling cards in EACH of the following:

~ Synonyms
