Summer Olympic Sports: Research & Expository Writing (2nd-3rd)

Have your students research one olympic sport and the final product will be a two or three-paragraph expository essay.

Students will research basic facts of the sport, how to play, the rules, and interesting facts!

This product includes:

- list of Summer Olympic Sports

- 2 page research brainstorming sheet

- For 2nd Grade: a frame to help students write 2 paragraphs

- For 3rd Grade: reference sheet of how to set up the 3-paragraph essay

- final draft stationery (one is single lined and the other is primary lined)

This is a great way to expose and interest your students to the Olympic Games!
