What educators are saying

In my district we work on our students advocating for themselves and becoming independent with taking care of their technology. This checklist is perfect!

Description

This checklist can be used as a tool for students to monitor their own hearing aids, and to allow them to try and lightly troubleshoot their device before reporting to the teacher or audiologist. It is a great way to promote self advocacy and responsibility.

I like to laminate these sheets and have one for each student, which they fill out with a dry erase marker on a case by case basis. However, you can also print a pile of these sheets and have students fill out a permanent checklist every time they troubleshoot, which can then be kept as part of their troubleshooting records.

Enjoy, and please comment and tell me how you’ve incorporated these checklists in your classroom!
