Description
Need a fun elementary music activity? Need to add movement and brain breaks to your music lesson plans? Your students will love doing the steady beat with these colorful word cards. Start your favorite music with a strong steady beat and let your students move! The word wall will also work well as an elementary music bulletin board.
There are 46 action cards with 23 different movements represented by a boy and a girl: blink, clap, hop, jump, jumping jacks, march, knee bends, pat toes, pat knees, pat head, run in place, snap, tap shoulders, tap chin, walk, wave arms, wink, reach high, move down low, wiggle around, sway, leap, twist, heel tap, toe tap, tap chest and free choice.
This product contains three options:
- Print in color on white stock paper and laminate for durability.
- Print the b/w version if you do not have access to a colored printer (color the children prior to laminating).
- Use the images provided for your classroom use and project on your board during your lessons.
Would you like to include a movement lesson that also has lots of rhythm and instruments? Check out the extension resource: Back to School Let's Move ~ Elementary Music Lesson ~ Hello, My Friends.
