Conjugation Worksheets for 42 regular Spanish verbs in the simple present tense.

Each of the following Spanish verbs has their own worksheets:

AR VERBS: amar – bailar – caminar – cantar – cocinar – comprar – desayunar – descansar – escuchar – estudiar – hablar – mirar – nadar – necesitar – pasar – pasear – practicar – tocar – tomar – trabajar – usar – viajar

ER VERBS: aprender – beber – comer – comprender – correr – deber – meter – leer – romper – vender

IR VERBS: abrir – cubrir – cumplir – decidir – escribir – imprimir – insistir – recibir – subir – vivir

Each verb has two pages of activities. One page has a conjugation chart where students write the correct form of the verb next to its subject pronoun. There is also a space for students to try and create their own sentences for each conjugation (this sentence creating could be left until the end or for homework). Under this chart there are five sentences with the verb missing. Students need to choose the multiple choice answer that correctly fits the gap. (There are three alternatives to choose from.)

The other page has a mix and match activity (draw a line between the subject pronoun and the correct conjugation of the verb). Under this there are five sentences where the verb is missing. Students need to fill the blank with the correct conjugation of the verb.

Teachers can decide which of the two pages to work with first and also the order of the activities.

Answer sheets have been included for teachers. As a part of the teacher answers, there are example sentences for each form of the verb in the conjugation chart.

NOTE: The worksheets only use AFFIRMATIVE sentences. There are no negative sentences or questions.

NOTE: The vosotros conjugation appears in the chart and for the mix and match activity. For the Fill the Gap activities and multiple choice questions, the vosotros conjugation is NOT used.
