Learning to Self-Advocate
As students enter higher grades, it becomes increasingly important that they are able to effectively self-advocate. Their learning, social development, and independence are highly influenced by their ability to express their needs in a positive way and are able to speak up for themselves. These lessons focus on teaching students the importance of self-advocacy, how to successfully self-advocate, and how to ask meaningful, precise questions.
