Use this social media template packet to connect/relate to your students on a personal level. You may wish to use these templates as an exit ticket, biographical study, get to know you activity and much more. Listed below are the specifics for each template included:
Facebook Template- 1 whole page
*Ideas for use: 1. biographical study (create a Facebook page for a person who lived long ago, a famous historian, scientist, etc.) 2. Introduction activity (a way to get to know your students better)
Specifics: Profile picture, cover photo, places worked, places studied, lived, birth date, gender, short bio, status update, "check-ins"(2), friends list(2)
Twitter Template- 2 per page (half sheet)
*Ideas of use: 1. Exit ticket (an informative assessment on what students took away from the lesson). 2. Movie worksheet (keep students accountable while watching an in-class movie/video) 3. Have students pretend they were around during a historic event (what might be something that they would have tweeted?)
Specifics: profile picture, username, tweet, hashtags, location (can be your classroom or where the event took place).
Instagram Template- 4 options available (2 layouts with 4 different sizing options)
*Ideas of use: 1. Exit ticket 2. Art connection 3.Have students pretend they were around during a historic event (what might be something that they would have instagramed during that time?)
Specifics: profile picture, username, photo space, caption, hashtags
Snapchat Template- 2 options available
*Ideas of use: 1. Exit ticket 2. Art connection 3. Students can put themselves in the place of a famous historian, scientist, etc. and create what they might have snapchatted during their time alive.
Specifics: username, large picture space, caption
Pinterest Template- 4 options (2 layouts and 4 sizing options).

Cell Phone Messenger- 1 half sheet
*Ideas of use: 1. Exit ticket. 2. biographical activity 3. Conversation with teacher/classmates
