Description
Be the first to find the match between any two cards.
Once you cut out the hexagons, put the pile in the middle between the people playing. Players take one card. Players try to find the matching sight word between their own card and the shared card. The player to find the sight word first, and say its name gets to take the card. Player with the tallest stack wins.
Watch students' eyes dart between cards to eagerly find the sight word that repeats. While each card has eight sight words, only one word can be found between two cards.
Each download has four sets of cards. Each page has four of the same hexagon shaped card. There are 16 sheets... making printing and cutting out sets efficient.
Sight word recognition means better reading.
