Ruby Bridges Biography Flipchart- Black History Month

This is a flipchart I created to use on my Promethean Board. I used it during my Ruby Bridges unit. I created it to along with Black History Month which is in February.

The flipchart includes
- KWL chart
-where she was born
- questions to start class discussions
-her first days at the all white school
-pictures
-videos (embedded into the flipchart)
-a page to describe her character traits
-various facts about Ruby

It is an interactive flipchart that provides students the opportunity to learn what it was like for African Americans during this time. Also, gives students a chance to relate to Ruby since her story starts when she is so young.

In order to use this flipchart you must have the program ActivInspire on your computer.
