    Real Life Math Project Investigating Budgets In this project your students will be assigned an occupation. They will research their job, determine a monthly income, look for a place to rent and plan a month of expenses. This fun hands project is sure to be one your students will remember for a long time. Also included are pre-project activities including a vocabulary chart, crossword puzzle and salary matching activity.

    Plan Your Own Trip Project Students will work within a set budget to plan a getaway trip. Students will be responsible for finding transportation and accommodation costs as well as create a budget for each day of the trip. Not only will your students be using lots of math skills they will have fun dreaming of an adventure away!

    Famous Mathematician Project Your students will dig deeper into the history of mathematics with this project. Students will choose four different mathematicians throughout history to research and then create trading cards with the information learned. After students complete their cards they will share information with others and complete a culminating crossword puzzle challenge.

    Math Behind Roller Coasters and Mini Project

    Included with this resource are worksheet activities for students to learn facts about roller coasters and theme parks around the world. Students will then research a theme park, creating a brochure with the numbers behind that theme park.
