Description

Thank you for taking a look at my work. I used this with my own class to help them successfully prepare for our upcoming unit test.

This is a rigorous, eight-question assessment (or study guide) combining two informational texts; Henry Ford and Thomas Edison, both by the author Lynn Davis

These texts can be found in your school or local library and also on the EPIC app. The text themselves ARE NOT included, only the links to the texts on EPIC, the test questions, and the answer key.

The three standards assessed are:

LA.2.RI.3.7 ~ Explain how specific images (e.g., a diagram showing how a machine works) contribute to and clarify a text

LA.2.RI.3.8 ~ Describe how an author uses reasons to support specific points in a text.

LA.2.RI.3.9 ~ Compare and contrast the most important points presented by two texts on the same topic.

Thank you and enjoy
