What educators are saying

I love using reader's theaters to teach skills along with fluency practice. These stories were great to use in out virtual classroom, and the students really enjoyed themselves as they read.
We used this in summer school. Every grade level needed to complete a Readers Theater and the students loved the stories!

Description

This 147 page pack has 10 readers' theater plays for your shared reading block. Each play comes in a full-page format so students can easily follow along with their assigned parts. Each play also includes a dictionary page to be filled in by the students, comprehension question pages, and writing prompts to help deepen their understanding of what they read.

These plays are perfect for literacy centers or partner work. They work well for shared reading or fluency groups. Each play takes about 10-20 minutes.

Each passage has been professionally leveled by Lexile so you know you can trust the level, structure, and complexity of each play. After reading, students can answer different reading comprehension pages, or complete the summarizing pages, to help solidify their understanding of the play.
