What educators are saying

My students loved acting out the stories in this resource. They got really into it! Thanks for creating this unit. We were big fans!
These we fun for my students and were more on their grade level than the ones that came with my reading curriculum. I will be using them again this year.

Description

This 132 page pack has 10 readers' theater plays for your shared reading block. Each play comes in a full-page format so students can easily follow along with their assigned parts. Each play also includes a glossary, comprehension question pages, and summarizing pages to help deepen their understanding of what they read.

These plays are perfect for literacy centers or partner work. They work well for shared reading or fluency groups. Each play takes about 10-20 minutes.

Each passage has been professionally leveled by Lexile so you know you can trust the level, structure, and complexity of each play. Each play also comes with picture support to help scaffold your readers. After reading, students can answer two different reading comprehension pages, or complete the summarizing pages, to help solidify their understanding of the play.
