This BUNDLE has 92 simple stories that kids can read and sequence! Each story provides BEGINNING and/or STRUGGLING readers with a genuine opportunity to practice reading short stories they can decode with early phonics skills and basic sight word recognition. The short stories on these pages work with CVC words, CVCe word families, Blends, Digraphs and basic sight words.
Each story has a focused phonics/fluency stories. Students can highlight the focused word family words, blend or digraph as they read the text. There are also 3 "Accountability" stars on each page. Each time the student reads the text for fluency, they get to color a star.
Once a student finishes reading the simple story, they can cut and paste to show the sequence of events. This engaging activity allows students to demonstrate their comprehension of the text.
