What educators are saying

This was a great resource for practicing important 8th grade skills. I used this for end of year review and it kept my students engaged while still practicing math!
I liked using this resource with the sentence starters. It helped guide the students in the right direction and modeled what a good interpretation looks like. I find that students tend to be too vague in their descriptions and this helped them see the kind of detail that needs to be included.

Description

In this lesson students will be able to match and describe the inclination of a line to each of the scenarios. There are 4 graphs in each set that matches with exactly one scenario. I included a handout for each set of graphs with sentence starters to help students that struggle when it comes to writing. I also included a blank template.
