Description
The perfect science and math investigation with NO carving required!
Students first estimate a pumpkin's height and weight, then measure. They investigate and measure the circumference, as well. Students compare their pumpkin to the pumpkin in the picture, and finally draw their pumpkin!
This investigation does NOT require an adult to cut open a pumpkin. (This makes the investigation IDEAL for after pumpkin-patch field trips! Kiddos can keep their new pumpkins intact while still investigating them!)
** You will need to provide: rulers, measuring tapes, crayons/markers, and....pumpkins!
Happy Fall, y'all!
